Développement et vitalité des territoires Club Zone de Lachine is looking for a volunteer to introduce our youth members to the exciting world of chess! We’re seeking someone who can teach the fundamentals of chess strategy, tactics, and game principles while fostering a passion for competitive play. Our goal is not only to teach chess but also to prepare our youth to participate in local and regional chess tournaments.

Tâches
-- Lead a weekly chess activity for youth ages 8-17
-- Teach chess basics, including rules, strategy, and tactical play
-- Organize friendly matches and small in-house tournaments
-- Prepare youth for participation in external chess competitions
-- Inspire critical thinking, patience, and sportsmanship through the game of chess

Bien que notre clientèle principale soit les adolescents (12 à 17 ans), nous offrons également des programmes adaptés aux plus jeunes (8 à 11 ans). While our primary focus is on teens (12–17), we also offer age-appropriate programs for younger members (8–11).
