The “JeBenevole.ca” platform is owned and operated by the Fédération des centres d’action bénévole du Québec (the Québec federation of volunteer centres, here referred to as “the FCABQ”) on behalf of its board of trustees, staff, volunteers, members and partners. Access and use of “JeBenevole.ca” is provided by the FCABQ for personal and social purposes, and is meant to be accessible to everyone. Within this context, the FCABQ respects the privacy and integrity of any information that you provide as a user of the platform. The FCABQ complies with Canada’s privacy laws, and it has created the following Privacy Policy to govern the use of “JeBenevole.ca.”

General policy and feedback

Any personal information gathered through “JeBenevole.ca” about users is not provided to third parties. You will not receive any e-mails you have not requested, and you may update or cease to use your account at any time. Comments regarding this policy may be submitted via the platform’s feedback.

Account registration information

Information concerning the use of “JeBenevole.ca” is gathered through traffic data captured via Google Analytics, standard web logs and feedback. The personal information gathered as a result of using “JeBenevole.ca” will not be sold, traded and/or rented to others. Use of platform by minors

Parents and guardians are encouraged to spend time online with children to identify volunteer placements that are suitable for them. No personal information should be submitted, posted and/or published by children under 16 years of age without the consent and involvement of a parent, guardian or teacher.
